Berg's most recent project, "The Battle For Jerusalem", was shot in and around Jerusalem, Israel. It deals with Israel's ongoing struggle to retain sovereignty in the city conquered by King David over three thousand years ago.   Interviews with key archaeologists and historians provide evidence that Israel's claims to Jerusalem are quite justified. Further, Jewish and Christian spokesmen point to specific biblical passages which exhort all believers to support the seed of Abraham and..."to pray for the peace of Jerusalem."   The Six Days War in 1969 will forever leave its mark on the soul of Israel and on the memory of those who fought so bravely to recapture the Old City.    Despite the threats and warning from neighboring nations (as well as the White House) Israel continues to build within existing Jerusalem "settlements".   A Temple "field school" is now being built to train priests for service within the next Temple.    |
